Ingredients for carrot halwa
Carrot grated – 2 cup
Milk – 1 cup
Sugar – ½ cup
Cashew nut broken – 20nos.
Raisins – 15No.
Cardamom – little
Ghee – 1½ tbspn
Preparation of Carrot halwa
Heat the pan and add ghee and let the ghee heated up then
add cashew nut, raisins and let it get fried and add the grated carrot let the
carrot turn to pale orange colour and then add milk. Let the grated carrot cooked in milk. Keep the flame in medium and cook. The milk will be evaporated and grated carrot
will be soft and at this stage add sugar.
The Sugar, Grated carrot and milk and everything binded together
and it will not catch in the vessel and this is final stage to remove from
flame. Now the delicious dessert Carrot
halwa (Kajar ka halwa) ready to serve.
