Dates – 1 cup
Ginger – small piece
Garlic cloves – 7
Red chilli powder – 1 tspn
Turmeric powder – ½ tspn
Mustard – 1 tspn
Asafoetida powder – ½ tspn
Green Chilli – 5
Red chilli – 2
Salt as required
Sesame Seed Oil as required

Remove the seeds in Dates peel the skin and chop garlic cloves, ginger, chop the green chilli, break the red chilli in to 4 pieces.  Keep the sesame seed oil and add the mustard, Green chilli, Red chilli, Garlic cloves, Chilli powder, Turmeric Powder, Asafoetida powder and Salt.  Now add around ¾ glass of water and let the water to boil.

As soon as it boil add the seed removed dates and keep the flame in sim and lid this for approximately for 10 minutes.  The dates is cooked and the dates pickle is ready to use.
