Ash gourd sabzi

Ash gourd sabzi is very easy to prepare and its very tasty as well.  As all know ash gourd plays a major role in weight loss, very good blood purifier and it helps to clean the stomach.  So we are very happy to share this wonderful recipe.

Ingredients for Ash gourd sabzi

Ash gourd – 500g
Grated coconut – 4 tbspn
Curd – 3 tbspn
Cumin Seed – 1 tspn
Green cilli – 3No.
Urad dal – 1 tbspn
Mustard – 1 tspn
Curry leaves – little
Turmeric powder- ½ tspn
Coconut oil as required
Salt to taste

Keep the pan in flame and add little oil and add the urad dal and fry to golden brown colour.  Now transfer the grated coconut, Cumin seed, Green chilli and roasted Urad dal to blender jar and grind as paste and keep aside.

Keep the pan in flame and little water and add the ash gourd pieces, keep the flame in sim and lid for 10 minutes.  Drain the water from ash gourd and keep aside.

Keep the pan in flame and add coconut oil and as soon as the oil get heated up add Mustard, Curry leaves then grinded paste and add the cooked ash gourd then turmeric powder and mix it well.

Add little water and let everything blend together.  Add salt at this stage and switch off the flame and let it cool and the curd and mix it well.  The delicious Ash gourd sabzi is ready to serve

Dates Pickle

Dates Pickle is very easy to prepare and its very tasty to eat.   If you make this pickle you will wonder about the taste and it tastes amazing.   Everyone will definitely like this and you will be surprised you can make pickle out of dates. Ingredients for Dates Pickle Dates – 1 cup Ginger – small piece Garlic cloves – 7 Red chilli powder – 1 tspn Turmeric powder – ½ tspn Mustard – 1 tspn Asafoetida powder – ½ tspn Green Chilli – 5 Red chilli – 2 Salt as required Sesame Seed Oil as required Remove the seeds in Dates peel the skin and chop garlic cloves, ginger, chop the green chilli, break the red chilli in to 4 pieces.   Keep the sesame seed oil and add the mustard, Green chilli, Red chilli, Garlic cloves, Chilli powder, Turmeric Powder, Asafoetida powder and Salt.   Now add around ¾ glass of water and let the water to boil. As soon as it boil add the seed removed dates and keep the flame in sim and lid this for approximately for 10 minut
