Urundai Kuzhambu or Paruppu Urundai Kuzhambu mostly all prefers this dish in south india. This is one of the south indian favourite its made of Toor dal and Chenna dal in the ratio of 3:1 and grinded as paste and cooked. Paruppu Urundai Kuzhambu dish take little bit time but it is very delicious dish.

Dal is rich in protein and this dish consists of Toor dal and Chenna dal. Protein is must for all ages weather its a child or aged person. You can consider this Urundai Kuzhambu as protein dish. This recipes is easy but its little time consuming approximately 20 to 30 minutes.

Ingredients
Toor Dal - 3/4 cup
Chenna Dal - 1/4 cup
Red chilli - 4No.
Cumin Seed - 2 tspn
Onion - 1 No.
Tamarind - 1 small lemon size
Mustard - 1 tspn
Fenugreek - 1 tspn
Asafoetida - 1 tspn
Curry leaves - little
Sambar Powder - 2 tbspn
Salt as required
Cocounut - 3 small piece of coconut
