Potato wedges you can prepare at home without oven
and its crispy and tasty. You can serve
this one as evening snack along with coffee or tea everyone in home will definitely
like this. Potato is all time favorite for
mostly every one and if you prepare in this way everyone will definitely like
this. So prepare and enjoy!
Ingredients for Potato Wedges
Potato – 4
Maida – 1 cup
Garlic – 1 medium size
Ginger – 2 inch piece
Corn flour – ¼ cup
Chilli powder – 1 ½ tbspn
Turmeric powder – ½ tspn
Pepper – ½ tspn
Ajwain – 1 tspn
Salt to taste
Oil required to deep fry
First thoroughly wash the potato and cut into wedge
shape, then keep the pan with water in flame and add all the wedge shaped
potato to the water. You have to keep
this boiling for 4 to 5 minutes and drain the water completely and let this to
cool.
Peel the skin of garlic and ginger
and grind in to paste with Ajwain and black pepper.
In the mixing bowl add maida, cornflour, chilli
powder, turmeric powder, grinded paste, required salt and make this to dosa
batter consistency.
Keep the pan in
flame and add required oil to fry and as soon as the oil get heated up dip the
wedge shaped potato in the batter and put in oil to fry. The delicious Potato wedges is ready to
serve.
