Fresh coconut milk is very easy to prepare at home
and it’s very healthy as well. We going
to share how to prepare fresh coconut milk at home. This coconut milk we are preparing today for
Aapam and the only difference is don’t add Jaggery syrup if you want to use the
coconut milk for something else.

Ingredients for Fresh coconut milk
Coconut – 1
Jaggery – 200 g
Cardamom – 1 tspn
Grate the coconut in grater and boil around 750ml
of water and add this with grated coconut and let it to cool. We are adding boiled water to extract the
milk completely from the coconut. After it
get cooled you have to grind this one blender and filter the milk from
this. Squeeze the grated coconut and
remove the milk fully from coconut. This
coconut milk you can use in cooking where you want to use coconut milk.
We are preparing this for Aapam so we are going to
mix this with jaggery syrup. For jaggery
syrup keep water and add jaggery pieces and boil till the jaggery pieces got
melted. Now add the cardamom powder and
mix it well. Then filter this syrup and
this to coconut milk and its ready to serve with Aapam.
