How to make Tutti Frutti at home

Tutti Frutti is made of raw papaya with sugar and food colour.  Tutti Frutti used in cakes, bread, ice cream, cookies etc.  We are sharing the recipe how you can prepare the Tutti Frutti at home.  You can prepare this tutti frutti and keep in air tight container when you are making cake or ice cream you can use this.

Ingredients for Tutti Frutti

Raw papaya – 500 g
Sugar – 2 cup
Vanilla essence – 2 tspn
Food colour Red, Yellow and Green

Preparation

Peel the skin of the papaya and cut in to half and scrap the centre portion with spoon.

Cut this in to small cubic pieces.  Boil the water and add the papaya pieces and half cook. Stain the water completely and keep aside.

Keep the pan in flame to prepare sugar syrup add 2 cups of sugar and 3 cups of water and wait till the sugar dissolved, then add half cooked raw papaya cubic pieces to this and boil till the syrup attains one string consistency.  Switch off the flame and add vanilla essence and mix it well.

Remove the papaya pieces from sugar syrup and transfer to 3 different bowl.  Add red, yellow and green colour to 3 bowls respectively and mix it well now we got three different colour that is red, yellow and green sugar syrup coated cubic papaya pieces.

Let this there for 12 hours and to remove extra syrup wipe with tissue paper the tutti frutti pieces and leave this for 2 days and it will get dried fully and store in air tight container.
