Wheat Roti is one of the healthiest dish and its good
for everyone, especially those who are on diet. We have prepared this with wheat floor,
Coriander leaves, green chilli, black pepper, cumin seed, Garlic cloves,
ginger, tomato, onion, carrot, coconut.
Its like a full meal dish and you have this roti as healthiest breakfast.
Ingredients for Wheat Roti
Wheat flour – 2 cup
Coriander leaves – little
Green chilli – 2
Black pepper – 1 tspn
Cumin seed – 1 tspn
Garlic cloves – 6
Ginger – small piece
Tomato – 1
Onion – 1
Carrot – 1
Shredded coconut – 1 cup
Salt to taste
Required oil
Preparation
First we have to make as a paste with tomato, cumin
seed, black pepper, Garlic cloves and Ginger.
Grate the coconut, carrot and chop the onion,
coriander leaves and keep ready. Take
the wheat flour in a mixing bowl and all the ingredients and make a soft
dough. You can add little ghee so that
the dough will be soft and the roti will be soft as well. Leave the dough for 30 minutes
Keep the tawa in flame and grease the surface. As soon as the tawa get heated up you can
keep the flame in medium to low till end.
Grease the polythene sheet or banana leaf and take a small portion of
the dough and make as flat round shape and spread as much thin you can.
Place the prepared flat round shaped dough in tawa
and apply little oil on the edge and on the surface. Cook for approximately 1 minute and turn to
other side till it get cooked.
Do the same procedure for the remaining wheat roti dough. The delicious wheat roti is ready to serve. I had give below the recipe video from our Youtube channel
