3 in one Mung bean sprouts recipe, in this I am going to show you 3 simple and easy recipes using Mung bean sprouts.  I will show you in another video how to make sprouts.  Bean sprout consists of lots and lots of proteins, fiber and nutrients.  In this post we will see Mung Bean Sprouts Salad, Mung bean Sprouts Sundal and Mung Bean Sprouts Sambar.

Mung Bean Sprouts Salad
Ingredients

Mung bean sprouts – 2 cup
Carrot grated – 1No.
Onion chopped – 1 No.
Lemon – ½
Coriander leaves - little
Salt as required

Method of preparation

In a pan add all the above said ingredients and add salt as required and mix it well the delicious and healthiest fresh Mung Bean Sprouts Salad is ready to serve within no time.

Mung Bean Sprouts Sundal
Ingredients

Mung Bean Sprouts – 1 cup
Mustard – 1 tspn
Kashimiri chilli powder – 1 tspn
Asafoetida powder – 1 pinch
Turmeric powder – 1 pinch
Salt as required

Method of preparation

Keep the pan in flame and add little oil as soon as the oil get heated up add Mustard followed by Asafoetida powder, Kashmiri Chilli powder, Turmeric powder and required salt.  Finally add the sprout and mix it well no need to cook the sprout fully only half cooked.  This is one of the healthiest evening snacks.  Cook only for 1 minute that is enough the delicious Mung Bean Sprouts Sundal is ready to serve.

Mung Bean Sprouts Sambar
Ingredients

Mung Bean Sprouts – 1½
Onion Chopped – 1 No.
Tomato Chopped – 1No.
Curry leaves – little
Mustard – 1tspn.
Sambar Powder – 1 tbspn
Asafoetida Powder – 1 pinch
Coriander leaves – little
Rice flour – 2 tspn
Oil as required
Salt as required

Method of preparation

Keep a pan in flame add little oil and let the oil get heated up then add Mustard followed by Curry leaves, Asafoetidapowder and Chopped Onion, saute the onion well and add tomato and little salt and mix it well.  As soon as the Onion and tomato cooked well add sambar powder then add 1½ cups of water required salt and let the mixture to boil.  Now add the Mung Bean Sprouts with this and keep the flame in sim and lid up for approximately 15 minutes to cook the Mung bean sprouts soft.


At this stage you have to add the rice flour mixed with little water to avoid the lumps and after adding the rice flour only 1 minute is enough and finally add the coriander leaves mix well and switch off the flame.  The delicious Mung bean Sprouts sambar is ready to serve.  You have this one with Chapathi, Roti, Idli, Dosa, Pongal etc.
